About this Apartment

Heat included in this 2 br modern apartment. This is a spacious and newly renovated unit located on the second floor of a modern 4 unit building. The kitchen is a couple of years old, and brand new flooring has been put in throughout as well. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower, nice tiling work throughout.

The building is part of a group of 4 buildings built just up the hill from Vermont Flannel Company. It is quiet and secluded on 31 acres of mostly wooded land, halfway between Johnson and Hyde Park but within the Johnson border. Each unit has their own private balcony looking at the trees and distant hill. Laundry room is in the center of the complex. Shared gardening spaces and a community chicken project possible. We also have tentative plans for a small shared workspace/music room and exercise room.

My child has been there for a few years and this will be her last year. Bullying is an everyday issue and when my child tries to talk to an adult it is often times swept under the rug. The principal is so worried about being everyone's friend and not making a student feel bad that there is no discipline in this school. My child has been assaulted by another student while they were reading a book and the only thing that happened was a meeting with the parents, my child is told that if she sees something to say something but when she does she is often told that is tattle tailing and to move along, very confusing as a student and a parent. I can't wait for my child to not be in this school any longer.

"The snow is a lot but the summer is worth it! Beautiful natural world and a great place to feel comfortable and safe. Access to town resources nearby are limited but Burlington is an hour drive away. A good place to make a peaceful home. Very accepting and open minded."

"Once your are outside of town, you are smack in rural Vermont, with exceptional views. It's a peaceful and quiet area, with lots of natural surroundings. The roads are not paved, but well maintained. The schools are great, and you are close to Johnson State College as well."
