"You see people walking their dogs, riding their bikes, and it is peaceful. There are no sidewalks down side streets but most people drive slower due to severe schools in the area. "

"No dogs off leash. Everyone is respectful and keeps their distance and/or asks to pet or play with your dog. Lots of nice neighbors and parks to walk to. Only down down is if your dog is trained to be off leash there aren’t any options within walking distance. "

"This is a very very dog and children friendly neighborhood. If you watch out your kitchen window, within a 10 minute period you will see at least 5 dog walkers and 5 children/ babies ."

"This neighborhood has the charm of the 50s, the friendliness of the 70s, and the diversity and openness of the 2000s. The lots are big so houses are not piled on top of each other, and neighbors are often in their front yards communing with other neighbors. It’s a pretty great neighborhood. "

"Proximity to great food, bars, and transit. 15 mins to the Domain and downtown. Walkable, fun neighborhood with dog park, playground, and entertaining spaces throughout. Walking distance to a multitude of neighborhood parks, restaurants, groceries and shopping. Central Austin location with easy access to all major roads and a short walk to the Crestview MetroRail train station."

"I'd say it's probably a 20-25 minute drive into downtown. There's also a public transportation hub in Crestview, so I think that might a better way to commute from this area."

"Crestview is just north of Brentwood and has a similar feel. It's a great, family friendly area that's had some major growth in the last few years. It's a very walkable, runnable, bike-able part of town."

"Crestview is a vibrant community with parks, an elementary school, churches, and friendly neighbors. We have our own shopping center full of local businesses. The neighborhood is in the process of remodeling homes and adding new places for other people to move to here. We also have our own MetroRail station and two rapid transit buses (express)."
