This school revamped a few years ago, and I've been impressed as a parent of a current student and alumni. I've had 4 kids go to North, and they all had great experiences. My last 2 children took all Honors classes, which allowed them to test well to get into the Hardin County Academy, a dual credit program that lets them graduate with a high school diploma as well as an Associates degree from ECTC. The teachers really care about the students and their knowledge and ability in the subjects. Currently my daughter has been taking Engineering classes, which are both advanced yet fun and stimulating. The teachers really work with the students as long as the students show initiative in improving.The diversity of North Hardin has long been it's strong suit. Located in Radcliff, KY, it sits right outside of the Fort Knox's gates. We have the diversity of a big city but with a small town feel.I am an alumni of NHHS, and it was the same when I attended. there are plenty of clubs to join, sports to participate in outside of the academics. Its quite a large HS for the state with roughly 1,600 students, or 400 students per grade. Depending on class selection, North prepares students for college or trade depending. They have opened up pathways for students to follow.I would totally recommend North Hardin High school to anyone!

From coming from the east coast of Central Florida, I am very happy with this school, all the staff , from principal to teachers and support staff. Everyone I have interacted with is always professional, friendly, respectful and knowledgeable! They make it very easy and inviting to ask questions and/or for help when its needed and make sure to include parents and extended family as much as possible with our children's educational experience.

I was once physically attacked and hit in the face at this school. I got in trouble and yelled at for “cussing”. What happened to actions speak louder than words? (the student that hit me wasn’t even spoked to, and didn’t receive any punishment.) And no, this isn’t a rare experience at North Middle. This happens A LOT. It’s a sad excuse for a school.

I love the teachers and staff at this school. I really feel they have my daughters best interest in mind. They work well to keep her learning on track and pushing her to work to her highest capability all while keeping it fun! She loves her teachers and has a great new experience everyday! The school is also really great about offering experiences for parents to get involved in their child's learning and how to best help your child succeed! Such a great school!
