"Mostly I drive anywhere I need to go It’s ok since I do not drive anywhere that is too far. The traffic is ok. "

"Amazing chill hood very peaceful living the dream happy peeps very well taken care of. Five minutes away from the city "
  • Caroline Sheehan
"Belivdere section of Lowell, everyone takes pride in their homes and yards, safe for children to walk and bike, lots of people walking and feel safe here. Shed park is near by for kids, new veterans park and Reilly park that has basketball courts, soccer field and grass fields in that store too. Lots of good takeout places, restaurants near by and close to highway if needed. Downtown Lowell is just a skip and a jump away and offers both American style food and more ethnic foods like Thai, Spanish/ Latin food, Vietnamese etc. Belvedere also has schools right in the neighborhood within walking distance as well as a private Catholic school very close by. Overall Lowell is diverse and open minded "
  • Caroline Sheehan
"I grew up here for 18 years and moved back in my early 30s. People wave as they walk by, neighbors look out for each other ( helping with shoveling, letting you know if they see something concerning, and even go so far as helping with personal matters) I wouldn’t be leaving if it weren’t for my family out growing the house. Yards are well kept and people take pride in where they live. Safe and beautiful place to walk and great place for kids to ride bikes and even play in the streets. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here with my grandmother for 11 years now and before that I use to go trick or treating here every year and I love the neighborhood "
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"I don’t have children but a lot of people in the neighborhood do - and I see them playing in the “streets”/neighbors yards...everyone is super friendly - there are a ton of people that walk every day and everyone always says hello...just a great place to live..."

"Lived here for 20 years. I love the neighborhood. Relatively quiet, not too much traffic but people do speed down the street I live on at times. I worry for pets, children and elderly neighbors."
  • Alexandra M.

  • Sean
"This is a true neighborhood. On my street, the kids all run from yard to yard, house to house, making up games as they go. We have an annual block party, Christmas caroling, and Halloween is amazing! I couldn’t recommend Belvidere more. "

"The commute is very easy and brief, unlike when I used to commute from Pawtucketville."
  • Perry c.
"I've lived in Belvidere for 2 years now and have absolutely no complaints. This is a wonderful neighborhood in a very dynamic and interesting city with a lot to see and do. The neighborhood is very peaceful, quiet and safe -all the things you want from life in suburbia yet still just minutes from all the perks of the city. Boston and Nashua are right down the road, yet you can go there for work or play when you choose to -not like if you live there and feel like you can't escape. The people in this neighborhood are very friendly and look out for each other. It's just a great place to be :-)"
  • Tonya
"The street is very nice but a block down the road and it's another story. The homes in the area are not very consistant, some are large and nice and others are small and look cheap. I don't think this is a part of Lowell where houses will increase in value in the near future. Downtown Lowell developments seems to be growing at a good rate."
