3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLehman High School, part of the Ann Hutchinson Academy, provided an exceptional experience for my son. Beyond offering a solid academic foundation, they opened doors for him to excel in multiple areas. He not only graduated with 10 college credits, setting him up for a strong start in higher education, but he also thrived as a student-athlete. Serving as team captain for both soccer and lacrosse, he demonstrated leadership and discipline, qualities that the school nurtured through its programs. The teachers at Lehman are nothing short of amazing. They consistently went above and beyond to support him, ensuring he had the tools and guidance needed to succeed academically and personally. Their dedication and genuine care made all the difference in shaping his high school experience into something remarkable. Lehman High School’s Ann hutchinson Academy program is a place where students are truly empowered to achieve their best, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all they’ve done for my son.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Ps 71 Rose E Scala

"Having Pelham Bay Park, NYC’s largest park, makes it easy to get outside and enjoy the Bronx. The St. Patrick’s Day parade is a great event on Tremont Ave that brings out the whole community, Irish or not. "

"It's a great place to raise a family. A large park and beach are close. Also, there is access to the train and bus. A large mall is also close by. I-95 is the major highway and connects to two major bridges, the Throggs Neck and Whitestone. AMC movie theater is located in the mall. The Bronx Zoo and Botanical Gardens is approximately a 20 minute drive away. The community is very diverse. Everyone is very friendly and a great amount of small restaurants are located throughout the neighborhood."
