7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageValley View Elementary is more than just a school; it's a hidden gem in the Hollywood Hills community. As the smallest school in LAUSD, it offers a more personalized and nurturing environment that's hard to come by in a large city. The teachers here are truly exceptional, dedicated to understanding each student's unique needs and providing tailored instruction. As a parent of two boys attending Valley View, I've been incredibly impressed. My older son, in first grade, is challenged academically and socially, while my younger son, in TK, is thriving under the care of his wonderful teacher. Even the little details, like teachers personally opening car doors and walking students to their classrooms, show the level of care and attention that Valley View provides. The school also has a strong and engaged PTA. From music and garden programs to art, library, drama, and STEAM initiatives, the PTA consistently brings value to the school community. The 5th graders also often help with the younger kids, walking them to their classrooms, and reading them books through the "Book Buddies" program. The principal's dedication to connecting with parents and students is truly commendable. She knows every child by name and strives to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and inclusion. I would highly recommend Valley View to any prospective families looking for a school that offers a small-town family feel in a big city.Parent Review1y ago73 Reviews - Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter started sixth grade at Bancroft recently and the experience there has been wonderful. Her teachers are engaged, the administration is present and responsive, especially the school's magnet coordinator (she is indefatigable!) and we've had a great time at events like the spring musical, the fall community day and the winter arts presentation. Our daughter's transition from elementary to middle school has been pretty seamless and enjoyable and she's made great new friends.Parent Review6mo ago32 Reviews - Hollywood Senior High School

"Cahuenga Hills Tennis Condo community is a rare gem within Hollywood Hills! The private hiking path to the Hollywood sign view is better than any view in LA! No need for a gym membership, with the tennis courts, pools, 2 gyms, private dog parks, gated security, and the nicest neighbors ever!"
