3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLehman High School, part of the Ann Hutchinson Academy, provided an exceptional experience for my son. Beyond offering a solid academic foundation, they opened doors for him to excel in multiple areas. He not only graduated with 10 college credits, setting him up for a strong start in higher education, but he also thrived as a student-athlete. Serving as team captain for both soccer and lacrosse, he demonstrated leadership and discipline, qualities that the school nurtured through its programs. The teachers at Lehman are nothing short of amazing. They consistently went above and beyond to support him, ensuring he had the tools and guidance needed to succeed academically and personally. Their dedication and genuine care made all the difference in shaping his high school experience into something remarkable. Lehman High School’s Ann hutchinson Academy program is a place where students are truly empowered to achieve their best, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all they’ve done for my son.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Ps 36 Unionport

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis elementary school is a vibrant, nurturing place where learning comes alive every day.My son says the teachers explain lessons so clearly that every concept “just clicks,” reflecting their dedication to true understanding.Their passion for teaching shines through in engaging activities that spark curiosity and joy. They genuinely care about each child’s emotional well-being, knowing every student’s strengths and growth areas.Best of all, they team up with parents, turning that insight into personalized support that helps every child thrive.Parent Review11mo ago7 Reviews - Pugsley Preparatory Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not recommend this school at all, First of all the teachers are either to much or to little. Some teachers barley know any english, they dont know the matieral themselves or they dont teach properly. On the other hand some teachers give to much. I should not have to spend 8 hours in school, and then another 2 at home doing homework. The teachers are mad disrespectful. They curse at students and say hateful things, And despite all of me and my friends efforts to report this unacceptable behavior. All deans, Counselors, APs, Principals ignored it. Not to mention the bullying in this school. Someone even committed sucide and you guys think its okay to let this stuff go easily? Every single day i get atleast a few comments on my looks, weight, religion, culture. Racism and bullying is so normalized in this school. I had to eat lunch with the security guard in the front for 3 months straight all because of the bullying. The cafeteria food isnt good and gave food posioning to many. Overall going to this school was my biggest regretStudent Review3mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 2100 Ellis Ave.

A con for the neighborhood is parking. This area is very close to the MTA 6 train where you can take a short 15 minute ride to the city. "
