7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE. The teachers are HORRIBLE. Students practically walk around with weapons. One of the school resource officers forgot to do his job. The students here are violent! There are so many drugs. HARD drugs. It reeks of weed every morning. Dr Miller does not do her job. The counselors don’t do their jobs and NEGLECT children who have mental issues. They are not real counselors. If you are rich with extremely athletic and academically gifted children then send them here. The only other good thing here is the special ed department. They are wonderful.Other Review11mo ago9 Reviews - Ramay Junior High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school doesn’t care about you or your students, the principals are the worst people you will ever meet, their rules make no sense whatsoever and the teachers are not even better, half of them don’t even know what they are doing and all they do is ruin your mental health. Please if you have a kid do NOT put them in this school if you want to make your kids life a living hellStudent Review9mo ago7 Reviews - Washington Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWashington is a special place. In a town where we have seen neighborhood schools turned into super-sized schools, Washington remains the smallest (approx. 300 students) school in the district. It is common to see students walk to school, walk to downtown field trip events, and walk to after school activities at Wilson Park. Washington enjoys the support and resources of its active parent base, the University of Arkansas, and the Downtown district. The students are racially and economically diverse, and the school focuses on compassion, leadership, and conflict resolution as tools to navigate diversity.Parent Review10y ago24 Reviews - John L Colbert Middle School

"Lots of traffic up and down the streets. Cars parked on both sides of the street leaving room for one vehicle at a time to drive down the street. Close to 3 schools "

"Houses are very close together and people will complain about barking dogs in the day time. Foxes and coyotes have been spotted by all of us on multiple occasions. Lots of foot traffic, so not great if you have barkers. The area is very walkable. Lots of trails and gulley park. "

"So many places to walk with side walks and a park near by. Great location in the middle of everything and also safe with plenty of police on patrol. Most neighbors are pleasant/friendly and have even helped me out before as I have also done for others. "

"It's a hidden gem in Fayetteville and a very desirable place for families and pet people, Wilson Park is one of (if not the) oldest parks in Fayetteville but has been well maintained and recently updated."

"Traffic is the most hazardous element in this neighborhood. In general, I would say this is probably one of the safest neighborhoods in the city. I have lived here over ten years. "

"Crime rate in the nearby income based apartment complex is super high. Shooting, drug deals and worse. Management gaslights tenants to avoid responsibility "

"Homeless hubs all through local woods and bike trails. This seems the old segregated area of town. Situated behind the “downtown entertainment district”, a military housing complex turned into low income projects housing, a confederate cemetery, the county prison and the edge of town. Great equity on a repaired or rebuilt home tho"

"Honestly a great neighborhood, very community driven and friendly. I would definitely be able to ask my neighbors for a cup of sugar and never have to worry about leaving the house unattended. Lots of wildlife and vegetation but it’s close enough to town to make for convenient living."
