"Rodeos golfing, cycling, the restaurants, the community, the Elks Lodge, the parks, the pools, the airport and the surrounding areas to get out into the wild with your side-by-side or hiking or shooting your guns………………………….."
  • Elijahmonnett
"Gold rush days mucking drilling contest - sunday Feduary 15th 2025 greatest old timey miners contest in the state of Arizona "
  • Brenda Laney
"The neighborhood is filled with kids of all different ages. They can ride their bikes and go for walks and be perfectly safe. There are several dog owners who take their dogs for walks every morning and they always use leashes. I’ve seen several homes that have done a lot of upgrading and upkeep on the landscaping. It’s very homey and safe in this neighborhood."
  • Dean
"Lots of room to roam the desert, but need to be careful of coyotes, cactus and javelinas. Javelinas are like wild pigs and hate dogs."
  • Dean
"Commute to work is 3 minutes. It is walking or more easily biking distance. I love living in a small town with no traffic "
  • Jason P.
"Wonderful country town. Great sense of community with wholesome charm. Famous for Team Roping and awesome horse property. "
  • Cah
"Neighbors look out for one another. Desert environment but close to amenities such as grocery and drugstore. Best of both worlds. "
  • Riding4faith
"It’s a town of old people and rodeo professionals and they don’t like anyone it’s very clicked and dogs are not well liked "
  • Gaffield
"The residents are friendly, engaged and community oriented. We have only lived here one year, yet are enjoying friendship with our neighbors. "
  • Keishaadaniels
"This is a historical town an the roping capital of the nation. There is always stuff going on in town. "
  • Jkvaremy3
"A lot of people walk their dogs in the neighborhood. Although I do hear a lot of coyotes at night, so I wouldn't let your pets out alone at night. There aren't very many street lights either. There isn't a lot of traffic and people generally seem to go the speed limit, so I feel as though as long as it's daylight it's a great place for pets."
  • Lacy
"The communuty members are great in Wickenburg. You know people by name at the grocery store and passing in the streets. The Town decorates the streets for Christmas and has several community events. "
  • Mailkeen
"Wickenburg is an "undiscovered" gem just 30 minutes from Phoenix. Arts are a primary focus with the Town having a first-rate performing arts center, and a "best in the west" museum featuring modern and classic western art. Coupled with clean air, incredible landscape, public rodeo grounds and a soon-to-be developed Maricopa County nature park, Wickenburg has a bright future!"
  • Vanessa P.
"For the average family or young couple, I would say that entertainment in Wickenburg is generally poor. However, the Del Webb Center for Performing Arts is true nugget of gold. I have seen many performances there and the lineup is very diverse. They've had acts as diverse as the 3 Irish Tenors, Chinese Acrobats, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the BG Adair Jazz Trio, R. Carlos Nakai, and just too many incredible shows to name. Wickenburg won't provide a night on the town for most people, but a show at the De Webb Center is always, always a delight!"
