"You can access everything downtown Oxford has to offer by parking in the parking garage and everything’s within walking distance."
  • Bri Sumner
"My commute is about 45 min to West Chester. Not to far of a drive at all. It's great to be out on the countryside. "
  • Bri Sumner
"We have first Friday. Every first of the month the whole town closes down the roads and everyone goes to the shops and restaurants!"
  • Destiny stokes
"We have 1st Friday every first of the month where ppl gather and walk the street to view different stands on the street. "
  • Kristine R.
"Luckily I work from home... I don’t drive, I’m a city girl.. It can be challenging to get around but in the past year you can get a Lyft or Uber... "
  • Keith S.
"Live concert in the middle of the street in August. Free movies in the summer on the side of a building somewhere. It’s extremely loud right here in the center of town. Lots of sports cars coming through with no exhaust system. Everyone’s revving their engines constantly. Very loud and annoying."
  • Cristareinhardt28
"Watch your children while outside playing, lot of area and easy to loose sight of them! Also cars sometimes aren’t looking for children while driving."
  • Charles L.
"Dog owners will like the multiple parks within 10 minutes from Oxford. And they will most definitly like that every where has a sidewalk and the lack of traffic mAkes my pit bull be at ease"
  • Westmoreland.janet
"I'm not a dog owner so I wouldn't know but maybe that in town your dogs dont have enough room to run around "
  • Joshua O.
"They like the neighborhood, it is pet friendly always. Everybody take good care of their pets and are friendly toward other pets. It is a good place to have pets around if you love having pets! This will be a great place for your companion mascot. Also there are clinics near by if you need to take your pet to a veterinarian. If you are going to live in apartments the fee for pets are not that expensive, it is around twenty five dollars to thirty dollar monthly compared versus others places that charge more for pets. "
  • Pam
"It’s a great place rural quiet and peaceful. Not much in walking distance if you like that. Good schools "
  • Omar B.
"I have lived here for the past 4 years very nice town to live in. My daughters like it here as well, new stores are coming and even a car garage."
  • Chad
"Was born and lived in Pennsylvania and loved the area, (love the 4 seasons)forced to move due to military combat injury .real estate high taxes and states non veterans tax exemption created hardship. Moved to Maryland where disabled veterans are appreciated and given tax breaks.Ready to move back home in Pa in my last days."
  • Valerie R.
"All the dogs are friendly and well contained. No one has their animals off their leash and pick up after their animals. "
  • Hayley g.
"We’ve lived here for 2 years and it has a lot of unique things to it, and plenty of farmers markets. "
  • Ldifabrizio
"Nothing at all the neighbors are noisy and disrespectful and I can’t wait to move. Can not sit outside can not decorate my outside or leave car windows open"
  • Bill
"If you like traffic congestion, nightlife and crowds. This is not the place for you. The school does have some hoods who try to be cool but, I think all schools do. Finding things for kids to do is an issue for most rural towns, but Oxford is an hour away from several major cities, 3 hours (or less) from the Jersey shore. In other words, there is an extreme difference less than an hour away from Oxford. In my opinion, from my perspective (and I have lived in many countries) no place is perfect and at this point in my life, I really like Oxford and it's people. (BTW, I dont want others to move here and change it.:)"
  • allen m.
"I live here and it it is a wonderful place to raise a family. great neighborhood."
  • Ranger R.
"We have lived here for one year. The new Walmart Shopping center in Oxford is located about 3 miles from our house. Kennet Square is located about ten miles to our northeast, with other shopping centers. Easy to walk in the neighborhood - there are no side walks, but there is little traffic and you often see people walking along the edge of the road. Closest public transportation stop is three miles away, and that is small county shuttle service."
  • John C.
"This area grew too fast and the schools reflect this area. Lots of public humiliation brought forth by the community on the principal. A lot of fighting and very loud neighborhood."
