"There’s a lot of people in our neighborhood. People leave good stuff junk outside the dumpster so others can take it if they want."
  • Hayleychavez44
"Dog owners would like the sidewalks and the park, but not so much the unleashed dogs without recall. "
  • Carolyn C.
"Hmmm...lot's of nice houses with no pets. Good luck renting any of them. ADA animal's ?? I understand potential damage, but to ostracize all pets and their owner's is discrimination. I don't want to live where loved and cared for animal's aren't accepted. "
  • Trulia User
"I suppose dog owners would like it here - all the houses have yards and there are sidewalks on both sides of all the streets"
  • Trulia User
"it's well maintained and you know your neighbors if you choose to. shopping entertainment and medical care near by"
  • Trulia User
"Very clean and friendly every time we visit. Many things to do, kid and pet friendly. When in town a must visit. "
  • Jetgirl
"I drive 25 minutes to work. There is no reliable public transport. Most homes in the area have easy access to one of two major north south corridors."
  • Soccerjewel
"The neighborhood is very peaceful for working from home. No issues with violence or anything else so far. "
  • Becca
"I live near Barnes and Peterson. It is very family oriented and more of a welcoming feel than the rest of the city. "
  • Corina G.
"People are walking their dogs all the time. They pick up after their animals as well . It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. "
  • Frank R.
"there's a library van that comes once a week to a local park to deliver and pick up books to the neighborhood "
  • Melissa R.
"The yards are spacious and people are dog friendly. There are lots of parks and trails available for walking dogs. "
  • Ahnna G.
"Close to everything. No more then a 10 minute drive to everything I need. I drive a lot. Traffic is better in this area then in most around town. "
  • Aaron L. R.
"Do your homework and see what will fit for you, traffic gets congested at Dublin and Peterson, or at Markshuffel and woodman."
  • Ally K. M.
"friendly people, neighborhood is mostly HOA but some of those on the board are a force to be reckoned with considering the minuscule things they will fine you for. "
  • Aaron L. R.
"It’s growing rapidly. Traffic is getting more congested. If you don’t have a vehicle getting to where you want to go won’t happen."
  • Trulia User
"Large houses for good prices, Mountain View’s, military friendly, safety, schools all close by and every store is close by."
  • Dorianlordray
"I have participated in any events in this community. I have really talked to my neighbors but I would trust them to help me in a pickle. They act and look like well respected people. I feel very safe in the neighborhood. This is such a nice part of town and is close to work for me. I have lived in a couple neighborhoods off powers and continue to live here. There are also a few parks pretty close one less than .2 miles. They have swings cooking equipment and basketball. I do not live here with a family but if I had a family this would be an excellent place to raise them. "
  • Nikolaus M.
"Sidewalks everywhere, close to shops and main roads but you can’t feel it in your neighborhood. Clean, low crime, and established family neighborhoods. Home values grow comfortably and it’s always quiet!! "
  • Toytoyp1
"commute can become congested during rush hour but nothing compared to other populated cities. Such as Dallas, almost anywhere in California, San Antonio, Chicago. "
  • Elenalb_57
"Dogs love the park and trails here. You always see a lot of people walking there dogs or play in the park with there dogs"
  • Jacey S.
"Traffic on Powers is horrible but that is the only negative thing about living here. Otherwise it’s a great place to live. You need to plan extra time to get to work is all. "
  • Elenalb_57
"Great area and lots of stores available Great neighborhood We have been here since 2002 when we built our home Great children’s area and elementary school "
  • Roy &. C.
"Getting over populated and there is not enough room, like on roads, parking, in locations. All the wild animals are loosing their habitat and building are replacing them. It’s really sad."
  • Robert D. W.
"Community garage sale. Movies in the park..................................................................... "
  • Joecro618
"This neighborhood is decent. most yards are kept up and I feel safe when walking my dog. like most neighborhoods in Colorado Springs it is crowded and cookie cutter though."
  • Desiree B.
"My family has lived in this neighborhood for over 2 years and it is extremely family oriented and close to any type of shopping you'd ever need!"
  • Malora M.
"The roads are well maintained which makes for an easier commute to work. Not too much traffic in order to get to and from places. "
  • Dwayne
"Dog friendly area and pet friendly in general. Please remember to clean up behind your precious little ones."
  • TLRTRACY
"Nice Schools and caring neighbors but many things as throughout C. Springs have changed over the past 5 yrs and not always for the good. "
  • Ladell M.
"unknown... haven't attended any meetings to find out if they even have any. HOA addition, older people, nobody ever out, minimal amount of contact, and strict rules. Don't recommend for families with children. Haven't seen any in neighborhood. "
  • Tricia
"Indigo Ranch has picnics for residents in the summer, community garage sales, and lots of trick or treating participants. It’s a great neighborhood to raise children in!"
  • Joseph G.
"The neighborhood seems safe, and like it’s a good place to raise a child. Close to a school, and a short drive to anything that you may want to do as far as entertainment or food. "
  • requiredonline18
"I don’t commute! I work 2.5 miles from my home. There are a lot of accidents on Woodmen and Powers. The traffic can be slow at typical rush hours. All in all not too bad."
  • Kateystephens
"People are really uneducated when it comes to dogs. People here are also very stuck up and can be rude "
  • Traut55
"the Stetson hills open space trails are good for walking dogs around. plenty of areas for dogs to enjoy. "
  • Jill O.
"We are moving from this neighborhood because our commute on Powers is miserable - way too much traffic along this corridor, and there are no alternative options to travel north-south in Colorado Springs. "
