"People are very friendly. The environment is beautiful. Southerners are very sweet Love the south"
  • Sheri Ellen
"We have many pet owners and is a pet friendly neighborhood. Been living in Seneca 58 years. Family is important! "
  • R Copps
"I’ve lived in the area (specifically the Village of Newry) for 9 years and I love it. Close to everything but far enough away to feel relaxed. Nice neighbors, a lot of improvements and community pride had increased."
  • Fox
"Neighbors are friendly and take really really good care of their homes and property. They clean up after their dogs and are extremely respectful "
  • Tara Patterson
"People come together to support each other during difficult times. The community is welcoming and there are many fun outdoor activity spaces. "
  • Shelley K.
"Just moved here and love it! Neighbors wave when you go buy. No one speeds and rarely do you see strangers unless they deliver something. Very quiet, but you can hear the stadium from here."
  • Dara D.
"This is a Lake community and very friendly people. A good combo of laid back like life and still near plenty of shops/restaurants!"
  • Jefferson B.
"Several people walk dogs past my house on a daily basis in the Bayshore community where I live. We know to watch for them when driving and wave from cars and porches. "
  • Brundage801
"it's ok if you don't live right in town. the mill area is not the best place to live or visit due to it being a high crime area. "
  • Brundage801
"its an ok place depending on where you live in seneca. The schools are good and shopping is always close by."
  • Erin G. .
"We’ve lived here over a year and it’s very quiet and everyone kinda keeps to themselves. My only complaint would be people tend to speed in the neighborhood and that does bother me since we have a child & dog so we tend to walk a lot. "
  • Amyhartgantt
"People are always walking dogs twice a day. Very dog friendly. Most people have dogs and some even walk with a golf cart "
  • Jefferson B.
"There ARE nice parts of Seneca, like the Bayshore subdivision (where we live), and neighboring ones AND there are "undesirable" areas, such as near downtown. "
  • Isom0314
"Neighborhood is a great area ! Awesome place to live, quiet and safe. Great place to raise your kids and have a family!"
  • Hugo Marques
"I enjoy being a resident in Seneca... Anything I need can be found in here: restaurants, car repair shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, medical assistance, good schools..."
  • Raeleigh W.
"There’s really not a lot to not like for a dog owner. Most neighborhoods have backyard space that is fenced in for the dog to run around, and you can walk your dog around the neighborhoods as well. One thing that they may not like is that there’s no where to throw away doggie bags if you pick up after your dog. Which, mostly no one would want a doggie bag trash can near their front yard, but it’s not like our neighborhoods have nice side walks to walk on, and even the park doesn’t have the doggie bag trash can. Other than that and people flying up and down the road, there’s not much a dog owner wouldn’t like. "
  • Hank N
"No side walk. So walking in the road with a few blind spots for drivers. Even tho it’s posted for 20 mph. People still go way too fast. "
  • Amy G.
"We are a Lake Keowee neighborhood that is nearly complete. We are close to town, Close to a county park and boat ramp, tennis courts and pickle ball courts. Boat storage around the corner. Everyone walks their dogs, waves hello. "
  • The Jensens
"I see a lot of people walking their dogs or kids around our loop. Dog owners seem to be mindful of dog waste. We've heard no complaints about any of the dogs."
  • Duaneg2017
"There's no community events, in this neighborhood. Mostly retired people, living here, with a hand full of young edults. This is a mixed race neighborhood, which every body gets along, with the exception of one, who recently left after beating up his livein girlfriend, he still owns his dilapidated home, but at least him and his drugs are gone for now. Where approximately 1 1/2 miles from shopping, which includes Wal-Mart, two shopping centers and a dozen diffrent places too eat and two gas stations within a mile."
  • Cngwatts
"Everyone always saves to each other. Kids play in the yards, ride bikes and Halloween everyone in town comes here to Trick or Treat"
