"keep an eye out on people walking around the neighborhood or passing by your house more than once they could be watching you it has happened to me a guy was walking around my townhouse more than usual and tryed to break in"
  • Trulia User
"there is crime and gunshots but mostly happen at night. be alert if you're walking down busy streets. because of gentrification it is getting a bit better and there are pockets where you can feel safe while walking.. all in all if you are out at night just be mindful and street wise.. there are drug addicts and drunks that walk the streets at night.. it is very trashy and there are drug rehabilitation centers in the area.. I have seen needles on the ground as well"
  • Trulia User
"not much of a great area for dog walking limited space and half the time people who are not animals lovers in this area can be a little rude"
  • Trulia User
"Farmer's market every other weekend on the corner of Long Point and Huge Oaks, with local food vendors, including Asian food and a guy that hacks up a coconut with a cleaver so you can have a refreshing drink."
  • Trulia User
"this neighborhood has easy access to all major roads. and ample public transit. I would definitely live there again"
  • Trulia User

"Love living in Kolbe Farms - Holiday lighting contests in December, easter egg hunts in the spring. Lots of young families and empty nesters walking the amazing trails in the neighborhood. Great Pool! "
  • Josh K.
"There’s a lot to do around here. I moved from California. There’s a few malls close, parks, and downtown is not too far."
  • Xmsbhave
"eclectic trees remodeling but hate that there's nowhere to walk the dogs bridge to access park demolished years ago"
  • Brendawhisenant
"Knoll Crossing is very diverse neighborhood with regards to , age, race, economics. It is an extremely safe neighborhood. All neighbors know each other by first name and, additionally, there are at least two community gatherings per year in order to keep those connections. We are all original owners. There has never been a re-sale. There has never been a crime report. Also, we may be the only neighborhood in the area that did not flood during Harvey. "
  • Kristin E.
"Great developing neighborhood near the amenities of the city but still affordable. Lots of residential streets and small parks that are great for dog-walking - you see lots of others out as well and people are always friendly! "
  • Caroline M.
"its a tricky area. safe but you have to be careful. parking is tricky. some areas are ridiculously expensive, some are super cheap. welcome to Houston. "
  • Chrisb1505
"Nothing, there are no community events to speak of. It’s a working class neighborhood with lots of children. It is a large park that is somewhat utilize by the kids."
  • Chrisb1505
"This area is not a very diverse neighborhood. The area is full of families and working parents. The are seems very secure. However is a lot of kids and buses during the school year."
  • Jessica G.
"This is a great neighborhood, it has everything you need and everyone is nice to everyone, it’s always calm and there schools are the best , you are really safe here and hopefully you get to see and enjoy how this is a great place to live in "
