    "I have lived here with my family for over 10 years. The schools are innovative and very focused on the success of the kids. The parents in the community care about their neighbors and their children. There are very few problems here, despite the casinos and the trouble I anticipated because of living near them. I highly recommend living here. After we moved here, a housing development was built, and there was actually a line to buy the houses because so many people wanted to move here. I had never heard of that happening before."

    "I live here in La Center and absolutely adore it! It has the feel of a charming little town yet is minutes to Portland, OR. The schools are excellent and La Center really takes care of the town! This is a perfect place to raise a family! It also is so pretty with the walking trails, wetlands, and on the East Fork of the Lewis River!"
