    "you see people walking their dogs all of the time, even down to the ice creamery on the square, I hear dogs barking around the neighborhood when were walking occasionally but it hasn't ever bothered me in side of my home and everyone's good about taking care of their dogs waste "

The school system is large enough to offer a variety of educational and extra curricular opportunities found in bigger schools but small enough to allow each child to participate if they choose and smaller class sizes to allow teachers to give more personal attention to each child. Recreation choices are plentiful being situated between two lakes, minutes from multiple biking/hiking trails, golf course, equestrian center and multiple state and federal parks. Commute to almost anywhere in Des Moines in 20-30 mins. "
