"Moving to Rio Rancho with children, look for areas in the new home neighborhoods as they have sidewalks and parks. A lot of the neighborhoods north of Southern/Unser don’t have street lights. Rio Rancho is a great community, but it is still close enough to Albuquerque to have some crime."

"In my neighborhood, not so much, but in other neighborhoods around me there are activities. A close neighborhood has garage sales and community activities in the central park area."

"I have 2 dogs, a Doberman/Lab and a Chihuahua, we take them for walks and to the park and they love it. I see all kinds of people walking out with there dogs everyday. All of the houses have huge yards that have plenty of space for dogs to run around. Even though everybody has dogs, there isn’t much barking, it’s a nice pretty quiet neighborhood with both crazy and gentle dogs."
