"We’ve lived here for over 4 years and live the safe, family feel to the area. Great restaurants, retail spaces and freeway access make things convenient. "
  • Devon Hogan
"It used to be a great small town community. Not that big of a town anymore. It costs way too much to live here and traffic has become horrendous over the last eight or so years. With four new large subdivisions going in between here and linden…. Once those fill I’m never going to want to drive through here again. It should not take ten plus minutes to make it two miles. "
  • kellyarnold48430
"We live in a private neighborhood. It is very quiet however, we all get along with each other and help each other."
  • Tracy
"I love the dog park. There are two ares for small and large dogs.Large space and beautiful views. Downtown Fenton is very dog friendly. I love calling Fenton .home."
  • Trulia User
"Theres a dog park, a pool, walking trails, and the office hosts events here at our apartment complex"
  • 19379138-0--1|deleted user
"Local roads are well maintained with quick access to freeways, highways and main roads. Some congestion in the downtown area during rush hour. If you can avoid that you should be fine. "
  • Jimshar1584
"my neighborhood is well lite. with sidewalks. Low speed streets. Close to town. plenty of SHOPPING."
  • Kennethodonnell75
"My in laws live on one of the lakes and it's a very nice area. The people all around are friendly and kind. Always a great place to visit."

  • Megan B.
"I’ve lived here my whole life. It’s a nice place to live. Nice people, nice parks, and nice places to shop or get all your needs. "
  • Brett L.
"Fun to take your pets to Bush Park! Lots of space to romp. The park is pet friendly and is available to all kinds of different recreational sports such as volleyball, baseball, as well as picnic areas, etc."
  • Andersbna
"Very pet-friendly neighborhood. Lots of dogs strolling with their owners. There a lot of dog friendly activities. "
  • Jason K.
"The commute seemed to be a bit dangerous overall in my opinion. The houses seemed to need a ton of yard work. People did not maintain their yards in these neighborhoods. The neighborhoods seemed pretty grungy overall in this area."
  • Andersbna
"This is a very friendly town where citizens are concerned for each other. The schools are great and neighbors are kind. "
  • Brett L.
"Lived out here since 1990. Great city to be in. Lots to do and great eats too. Try Mega Coney Island on US23 and Owen Rd. Excellent food. Good school system and athletics. "
  • Courtneykaymatlock
"Great town for dog lovers! There are a couple of dog parks and dog friendly beaches. Such a friendly place to live. "
  • Hartley.luke
"Too many stoplights In town. I have to hit 5 to 6 stoplights to drive 3 miles to the grocery store. Traffic in town is choked down by one way in and out of the downtown area. "
  • Michelle C.
"people walk their dogs all the time downtown. there are water bowls left out and dogs inside local businesses."
  • Christina M. H.
"Good neighbors and everyone is friendly in this area. There is everything you could possibly need within driving distance. "
  • me
"Very dog Friendly. Need to keep pets on a leash. There are subdivision rules on how many pets. Nice place to walk your dog. Traffic is moderate."
  • Acacia
"I barely get out. My wife is disabled and my 5 year old son has autism. Going out usually means we are doing something physical. I also have a 3 year old son so because we don’t have a yard we go to playgrounds. I know there is a farmers market but we never go. Fenton has several community events: July 4th etc. "
  • Acacia
"My commute is like I reported earlier. Since you want the same information twice I will happily repeat myself. I get out on the road every weekday at 6am. The roads are quiet. Around 6:30 the traffic picks up. I don’t wait to leave for work that late for this very reason. I’d rather not drive 80 on the expressway. I’m happy to go 67 mph since my van drinks gas"
  • Acacia
"Cars drive too fast in this area. I think that is true the world over now. People lack patience and diligence when driving. As a result there are more accidents, road rage, and deaths. I am a responsible member of society yet I am sure that I am hated for driving with courtesy and respectfully."
  • Greg S
"I drive to Flint 6 days a week. Monday through Friday is pretty easy going. Traffic on Grange Hall is a cake walk as long as you are on the road before 6:30am. After that traffic really picks and it is hard to make a left onto the main road. Grange Hall is also known as Silver Lake. People have been driving more aggressively every year. I’m not sure how much longer civilization has. "
  • Dionevans16
"There hasn’t been any as of yet. But everyone is so nice and helpful in Fenton. If someone seen me struggling with groceries or anything heavy they have offered to help out. Whether it was a man or woman and I’m truly grateful for such kind generosity!"
  • H.jeffers13
"It’s is a safe town that I have grown up in and have a 3.5 year old daughter. I feel very safe here and haven’t had any issues. But I always am cautious and aware we are close to flint and an hr from Detroit so. We can never be too safe. "
  • Rowinskisherri
"I see people walking for exercise by them selves. I see people walking with there children. I see people walk their dogs here that don’t live in my neighborhood "
  • Mandy .
"I love Fenton I feel safe it’s well kept, nice people a lot of community events downtown is amazing. There is always something to do here"
  • Elizabethnoell
"there are many things to do such as; farmers market, music in the park, everything is so close. let's not forget we have restaurant's all over too. "
  • Rowinskisherri
"There are two schools in my neighborhood with many neighborhoods . We all care about our neighbors and always willing to lend a hand"
  • jacksbecky
"It’s a great family friendly neighborhood. Lots of activities for families, with great schools. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. "
  • Hartley l.
"Lots of dog feces from the dog walkers. I like dogs, and I like to see them around the Neighborhood, but it seems to be a big problem with people picking up after their dogs."
  • Hartley l.
"Downtown traffic is always congested. I have to go through 5traffic lights in under 3miles to get to a grocery store. "
  • Liz S.
"Festivals, Parades, Fairs. Parks and beaches also. Theaters, community classes, ribbon cuttings for new local businesses. "
