"Smyrna is still developing. The area has new stores, has beautiful homes, and great schools. There is a wide diversity making everyone feel welcomed. "
  • Stephen Parker
"Lakes are 5 minutes away. Greenway trails are 5 minutes away for leisurely walks, cycling, and fitness. Parks and recreation are 5-10 minutes away and local citizens, city, and state government manage the resources well. Access to interstate highways are 5-7 minutes away. "
  • Pmslauenwhite
"Grocery stores deliver here. Also pizza delivery. Need transportation to go shopping. Multiple road options to choose for shopping. "
  • PS
"This is a safe neighborhood. Different food truck is scheduled every so often. Neighborhood events for families different times of the year."
  • Kayla Knox
"Decent - central location to everything. Nothing is close but nothing is too far away. Roadwork is minimal."
  • Aberin Joiner
"Nothing to like or dislike at the moment they don’t have one. But getting one soonmy dog will enjoy "
  • Helene B.
"I love Smyrna, and we raised our kids here. Smyrna is growing rapidly, because it’s fairly close to Downtown Nashville. Your local community in Smyrna is still fairly small, with a small town atmosphere. I’m close to the library, and it feels safe, surrounded area have nice sidewalks for walking and biking. It’s quiet and safe at night. Nice smaller neighborhoods, which makes it easier to connect with your neighbors. Well kept yards, and it feels safe to let your kids play outside and in the neighborhood. Good living for singles, couples and families with children. Helena"
  • Heatherrgreen
"Nice up and coming neighborhood. Family and dog friendly. So many new homes I’m sure there will lots of new amenities to support!"
  • Z65myb2fjx
"Smyrna is a great place to live. Not to far from Downtown Nashville and Airport. Good schools and convenient shopping. "
  • Stephen Parker
"Fair. Infrastructure is dated but being updated annually to compensate for the increase in population."
  • Melissa B.
"It’s a quite neighborhood. People are always out walking with dogs, playing in yards with kids and everyone’s yard is clean. "
  • Trulia User
"The homes in our neighborhood have big yards, nice sidewalks, and friendly neighbors that often have dogs as well. "
  • Juli C.
"The school district is well diverse, the neighborhoods are family oriented. There are plenty of businesses to frequent."
  • Alisha N. E.
"Very spacious and nice people. There is a dog park down the road. Plenty of sidewalks and open parks and trails."
  • Ben M.
"Nice place to live. Quiet and still simple but close to the city. Country feel but close to the city. "
  • Trulia User
"great neighborhood to live in with parks for the kids to play at. has all the shopping amenities needed "
  • Aly
"Commuting to Nashville is horrendous. I live 16 miles from my workplace, and it takes an hour to get there. My fiancé’s workplace is 23 miles from downtown Nashville and his commute is 1.5 hours. We liked living in Murfreesboro but Smyrna isn’t doing well and so many businesses are closing. People here are rude and trashy, do yourself a favor and move to Nashville. "
  • Bethash32
"trick or treating, all the kids play outside together and ride bikes. Neighbours watch out for each other’s kids. I’ve lived here since 1996 so it’s been a good experience for my family. lots of local churches and community activities "
  • Haily .
"great town to live in and close to murfreesboro. plenty of good stores and resturants. most neighborhoods are well maintained. "
  • Scarlethawk3
"Teach typical safety; people speed their cars more than I’d care for (but that’s not akin to this area specifically.) Very friendly, quaint, convenient. "
  • Jordan D.
"The parks are well taken care of, but the only downside is a lot of the neighborhoods don’t have sidewalks."
  • Scarlethawk_charli
"Typical for any suburb of Nashville. While the town of Smyrna isn’t busy, roads on or nearing the interstate will be during rush hour."
  • Samantha K.
"My husband and I have recently relocated from out of state and are lucky enough to work from home so we don’t have to deal with commuting however we have been out during ‘rush hour’ and can say that although there is a little traffic it’s nothing that would cause any major delays or cause your blood pressure to skyrocket. We’ve moved from New York so our view of traffic might be a little skewed, traffic to us is brake lights as far as you can see paired with an extra 1-3 hours travel time. In the few months we’ve been here we haven’t witnessed any true traffic (by our definition). "
  • Holly.carlton
"I’ve lived in Smyrna for the last 20 years and it is a great place to live and very convenient to Nashville and the Cool Springs area. "
  • Bridgetcoleholt
"I have my own transportation or my daughters, Fiancé drive me to my destination. It is a very beautiful and clean city. Very quaint and nostalgic atmosphere and buildings. People are so helpful and friendly."
  • Debbie Hamel
"I've lived in this neighborhood for three years everybody is friendly mine's their own business and there's no trouble"
  • Ladyblue106
"I lived here for a short time and everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly and the neighborhood is very well kept."
  • Pat P.
"Our neighborhood is very friendly. We look out for each other. We also hang out together. Everyone takes care of their lawns as well."
  • Jenniferstockdale
"Such a friendly area with great schools and a diverse community. I probably never going to leave this area!"
  • Bianca Q.
"I’ve lived in Smyrna for 3 years now. And this is Quiet, Friendly, and Safe area to live and raise a family. "
