8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is a sophomore at DC High School. He’s been in the district since Kindergarten. He’s an introverted nerd. Smart as a whip. DC has always been a special place where he can be himself. His teachers have been supportive of his nerdiness and provided him with the necessary tools to succeed. The administration has been awesome. Granted, I can’t speak to the high school staff. He’s getting to that age when we don’t need to be involved in his day-to-day education. But he’s got a medical impairment, and we’ve never had a problem with the admin and teachers keeping up with his needs. I can’t compare it with the other schools in the state. I don’t have a kid at those. But in his 10 years so far at Deer Creek, we haven’t needed to intervene any more than any of my friends whose kids go elsewhere. I think you have to ignore the 1-star and 5-star reviews. They’re not realistic. No public school can be that good or that bad across the board. People who get bullied at school have a completely different perspective than those who are the most popular. People who find one teacher with whom they feel 100% supported find success. Deer Creek has many of those teachers. Some people just haven’t found them yet.Parent Review2mo ago - Deer Creek Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school in 7th grade I left because of the bullying and I was uncomfortable. There was this one teacher who would stare at mine and other girls breasts and butts. It was so bad we would all wear jackets in his class. I went to the principal and councilor with this issue they both said i made it up,wanted attention, and laughed. I was not the only girl who felt this way and I was not the only girl who went to the principal and councilor with this issue.Nothing was done. He still works there. I do NOT recommend this school.Other Review10mo ago - Deer Creek Intermediate School

"Are you still late for your just a few years ago and the neighborhood has gotten much better. A lot of the houses are getting remodeled and a younger group of people seem to be moving in. You’re close to Classen which gives you access to most all the districts in Oklahoma City quite easily. Definitely saw the song less than desirable areas but seems to be improving."
