4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is very small. However, it has a very friendly and welcoming staff. The children all wear uniforms, which cuts down on the daily disagreements on what your child needs to wear. I wish the school had more programs. There is a large Mexican population and offers for English classes. I wish there were more offers for Spanish classes, as other schools have done. It's very small. Not many extras, but the staff and teachers are competent and friendly.Parent Review10y ago - Marina High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the good teachers (and school leadership that somewhat tries) slightly make up for all the abysmal sewage that seeps out from every nook and cranny here. And it is still leagues better than most MPUSD schools. The last bit being the only reason for a third star.Student Review5y ago - Check out schools near 260 9th St #26RDC1.

"dog owners would hate the facts there are cats everywhere. there is also other animals that are wild. "

"I'd guess that at least 50% or more of the homes here have at least one dog. The Dunes landscaping is maintained by the HOA, and everyone seems to be responsible, clean up after their dogs, and keep the neighborhood looking great. There is plenty of sidewalk space to walk your dog and stay away from others."

"I've lived in This neighborhood for 2 years and love it, I've forgotten to lock my car a few times with my windows rolled down and no one has ever broken in."

"We used to live in this part of town and I miss the proximity to the Sunday Farmer's Market, the coffee shops and stores. We could walk (stroller-stride) or bike to pick up a few items at the grocery store and be back home in no time. The sidewalks are in good condition and the traffic is minimal and courteous, especially since Imjin Parkway routes thru-traffic away from town. I wish the schools were better but they're average for Monterey (so-so). But the cost of living in Marina makes commuting to schools outside the area doable."
- Jraines8

"Very quiet cul de sac off of another cul de sac. Walking distance to Monterey Salinas Transit and local shopping."
