The principal, Larry Parks, answers emails from people very snarkily. I emaied him asking for a virtual tour and he refused to send photos because he did not know me. I do not recommend this school.

By far the worst for ethics and racially biased I’ve come across. The teachers at this middle school treat it more like a daycare and worry more about calling parents and writing up students for minor behavioral issues like making fart noises, laughing, or not raising their hand before answering a question instead of helping students advance academically. Allows bullying by students, teachers, and principals. The adults there are the worst for bullying a lot of them seem to have superiority issues.

The Emmett School board/District is effectively the efficacy of the schools ability to educate children because of their focus on saving money! They took away summer school in order to have an exclusive math club after school two times a week for about two months. Only children that were slightly under grade level were invited to attend.. I was able to request for one of my daughters to be able to attend the math club. However, when I inquired as to why she had not been invited from the beginning I was told that her math scores were lower than the other students who were invited and that usually children with scores that low, come with behavior problems and that was something they were trying to avoid having to deal with. I was told since my daughter sid not have any behavior problems she could attend. Is that discrimination??
