My son has had a good experience at the school, but academically it was about 1 year behind the private school he used to attend.

I did not enjoy this school. Honestly, if you ask the kids at this school if they enjoyed this school, they would probably say yes, but, and I cannot stress this enough, they only like it because they’ve been their all their lives and don’t know anything better. The children are pretty mean, for starters. While not all of them are nightmares, the kids are in general kind of rude and leave you out. The teachers are okay, but the overall education is pretty mediocre, and definitely not rigorous- we literally never had homework, and the curriculum kind of sucked. The kids also just talked during the lesson so it was hard to pay attention. It was also a little underfunded. They spent the donation money on polishing the ceilings and on random (kind of useless) things instead of actually contributing things to the classrooms. It was as if they cared more about the younger kids than the older ones. I’m not an adult, but my mother would also often complain on how there were barely any school events or teacher-parent communication.That is, there were some positives. It was decently clean, and the specials (PE, art, etc.) had plenty of materials. The building is also new and renovated, so it is decently clean and spacious. Also, not all teachers were mid, some were better. Overall, while I didn’t truly hate the school, I would not recommend it. I would send my child to another school nearby.
