Felt like a number at this school. Never let your child go this school. They treat the special needs kids like the step children.

The leadership at this school is atrocious. I cannot believe I sent my children to this school for as long as I did. We spent a year at this school and my children have called so far behind. I’m our previous state we moved from where education is much better, they thrived! Here, they went backwards dramatically. I believe it may be due to the low income in the area. The administration must be the people that couldn’t get into River Dell, Riverwood, or Thanksgiving. Children deserve a good education. Sadly, this school will not provide that. Terrible, terrible school overall.

Classroom management is non existent in most classes; students will go on other websites instead of their lessons and most children are disrespectful. There is a hudge drug problem, same kids get caught with weed and they just send them to Choices where they get to hang out with their friends and the choices teacher rewards them with snacks. Bullying is another issue, kids that get constantly harrased don't feel safe and hate the school and the bullies never get major consequences. Children will cuss out and threaten teachers on multiple offenses with no major consequences and students who have made threats of violence are still in the school. Administration is lass on out of school suspensions or expulsion because they do not want to take a hot and make their school look bad. Administration is a joke and does not protect the students or their staff. Most teachers are good though and support their students well and yet their best to engage their students in learning and most of them do well with communication to parents. This school definitely needs a sweep when it comes to Administration and councilors. The only administrator who was good was Mrs. Langley who left the end of the 2023 school year. You will often see the well behaved students working in the hall due to too many distractions in the classroom.
