"I moved to Norway from suburban Ohio 16 years ago and I never looked back. At the time the hopes for the revitalization of downtown was halted by 2008. Today, we have a vibrant downtown, an active community, an exciting project for our beautiful lakefront and opera house, and other nationally recognized gems. We are a group of entrepenuers, professionals, farmers, top notch skilled workers etc. who all value the beautiful outdoor life of Western Maine. "

"You need a car to get around. Most bigger name shops are about 45+ minutes from Norway. The commute to Portland is about 60 minutes. "

"There are a couple of decent parks around for young children, and the crime level is really low. However, there really isn't anything here for children or teens during the winter months, and I honestly think that has a negative affect."

"I lived in Maine for 16 years and loved this place. Excellent views, good breezes, wonderful access to ski and outdoor activities in the winter, many lakes in the area for summer activities as well as access to the coastal areas of Maine."
