If you're the typical suburbs kid in a two parent home with money to spare AND don't have any unique talents, gifts, or passions then this is the place for you! This place DOES NOT encourage gifted students or big ideas. It's too "scary." Both the students and faculty lack the intelligence, leadership, and characteristics to support highly gifted and talented students. And DO NOT go here if your goal is to make it big in athletics (or any area). Only send your child here if you don't want them to think for themselves or succeed in their gifts/talents. If your child is gifted, PLEASE do not send them here. If you have a particular talent, great ideas, or gifts, be prepared for YEARS of bullying and harassment by other students here. In my experience, nothing but cliques, jealousy, and constant negative attention. For me personally, not only was it rough being at home, this school nearly felt worse coming into everyday. There was no escape! My mom would always joke about taking me back to the Rez (where the high school graduation rate in my year was about 49%) because I begged to go anywhere but this school. It wouldn't have mattered which one in the end, I would've been on my own either way. I have achieved very notable success and it has zero to do with my experience here, other than suffering as motivation. If you want average at best, send your child/teen here! If you want your passionate and ambitious teen/child to be shut down and suffer, send them here, too!

The teachers and staff are wonderful, caring, and do their very best to provide a positive learning environment for all of the students. Unfortunately from my experience with the principal regarding a compassionate concern, I did not receive a professional response whatsoever... I appreciate the positive and practical character traits highlighted at the school but my experience has shown me they are just words. It is not actually how the principal operates and handles things with parents. The district superintendent on the other hand was very understanding, just, and fair. Change for the better happened after I contacted him.

Fun, engaging, highly effective, great curriculum and the staff is great. Thanks for such a great environment.
