"Is nice for a For retirees, it is quiet and peaceful. There are no designated areas for walking or for playing with children or dogs "
  • Flemingw2003
"I wouldn’t say the neighborhood unique at all that you always sucks other than that we just deal with it day by day"
  • Teresa I.
"there are parks and walking trails for families and dogs. And have sidewalks in our area. also if the neighborhood is racially mixed. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived i this neighborhood for nearly 4 years and I love it. Folks are very nice and will help out when they can. "
  • Carmelita
"The positive: The yards are large. Lots of neighbors have dogs. The negative: Lack of sidewalks and play areas. Occasionally dogs get loose and roam the neighborhood. "
  • Missy S.
"If you move into Sage Creek there are no buses for the elementary or middle school. It does not even matter if you are in the back of the neighborhood over a mile plus away your kid has to walk or you have to drive them."
  • Cedric J.
"You see people walking their dogs often, and they seem to not cause any problems. The neighborhood is pet friendly. Several families here own pets and seem to enjoy the neighborhood."
  • John D.
"My neighborhood is mainly quiet; no major issues outside of any other decent place. There is no public transportation within walking distance of my house. "
  • Montez C.
"It's a good community and there is a pool in our neighborhood so the kids have some where to play. The area is growing fast so the high school is having a hard time keeping up. "
  • Donnafellin
"I have seen ignorant people Tie their dog to a tree in 90 plus degree heat. I guess people here consider it normal ; I don’t."
  • Rita E.
"If you like privacy, yet good neighbors who keep to themselves but are open to being friendly and good neighbors. Most of the homes are on one acre lots, so you do have privacy. No problems in any way in 13 years of residency. Don't let the OLD stigma of a Graniteville address keep you away. This is not the original mill village, but a lovely golf course community with an abundance of trees and nature. There are many new communities of varying prices of single family homes in Graniteville, a few in the million dollar range, so don't let the hoity toities make you think buying here is not wise. Taxes are lower, no city taxes, nature, a fishing pond for residents (and golf balls :-), and a crime watch neighborhood. You will find better prices here than on the South side simply because OLD Aikenites still have the "mill village stigma" in their head. Come drive through Midland Valley Estates. Speed limit 30MPH. Happy I bought here, A Midland Valley resident"
