"A lot of traffic getting in and out of Conway, especially with Halloween being so popular and now the holidays. "
  • Dawson Alexzander
"I see people walking their dogs all the time and they are usually leashed or have some kind of fancy collar so they don’t just roam around. "
  • Nicholaslive
"Commute not too bad if you have your own transportation. Public transportation is not the best in this area. "
  • Fish
"Commute is arguably the only problem and worst part of living in Conway. Getting into the city from the south or the coastal route will have you in bumper to bumper traffic any time it’s during work commute hours. Also during the major decorating holidays the downtown becomes very fun and well decorated and because of that, the traffic is strong at night as well during oct-dec."
  • Rdaniel
"A wonderful, mature neighborhood of Buckwood. The only negatives are the proximity to 501 and low income house just outside our community."
  • Jill Davidson
"We don’t have any community events. But there is a nice park near by with pickleball and a play area for kids. "
  • Ashyna Williams
"Yes your dogs would love it especially with different smells of other people dogs walking around too"
  • Denise M Smith
"everyone does their own thing, everyone very friendly and very helpful especially with my disability "
  • Mandanik89
"Very friendly, helpful and considerate neighbors! We can go fishing in our back yard in the man made pond! We love it!"
  • Jennifer A.
"This area is the perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of the beach yet be only 15mi away in the beautiful suburbs. It’s convenient to all major highways providing access to tons of shopping, dining, and entertainment!"
  • Trulia User
    "this place is nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  • Trulia User
"it's a nice and quiet area for walking and spending quality time with your dog I would strongly recommend this area "
  • Trulia User
"You would see dog owners walking their pets all around the neighborhood and even pets are welcome in nearby stores."
  • J-and-d
"Community festivals (you usually find out when you're driving though), traffic is terrible (there isn't any on-peak or off-peak times; it's always bad; except late at night; but getting worse by the day) some people are nice; not all) The community has become more rentals so you have a lot of diversity (not much southern hospitality anymore), schools are ok but people consistently ignore the active school zone alerts, speed limits are low but people ignore that as well. There is an area called River Walk, it's nice. Don't go at night. Don't forget to lock your cars, no matter what, even at home. Police are more worried about drugs than traffic laws. Prices in stores are the same as you'd get anywhere in the northern areas. The humidity here is 3 fold due to being inland and with it being in a swampy area, it gets really muggy and stinky and the city water is terrible. Don't drink it. :) To each their own."
  • Darlene G.
"My daughter has lived here for 4 years and has never felt unsafe. Very nice neighborhood. Very pet friendly neighborhood. Amenities are well maintained."
  • Crystal O. M.
"Love the quiet country life. My daughter feels safe here too and the school system is amazing! Not much crime in this area too. I’ve been here for over 10years. "
  • Lucas K.
"pretty family friendly place. lived here for 20+ years and love it very much. nice southern lifestyle here. "
  • Jrroger78
"The neighborhood has a lot of dogs and their owners are out walking them all the time. All of the dogs are kept on a leash or in a fence in yard . This neighborhood is very pet friendly with lots of walking to be had . "
  • Karissa G.
"stray dogs everywhere. cars don't slow down..lots of space though for walking, running, playing and there is a dog park "
  • Elizabeth S.
"Every Holiday parade comes down Main Street. Restaurants, libraries, museums, parks, and shopping all within walking distance. "
  • Steve M.
"I just moved here approximately six months ago to the outskirts of Conway I'm very close to Marion the street I'm on my way has 14 houses on it it's a very quiet tranquil neighborhood and we have space between us which is very nice"
  • Sarah W.
"It isn’t the safest area to live in. Always lock your car. Check the school ratings before letting your kids go to certain schools. Some areas are really nice though so it all just depends "
  • Mjmulliki
"this area is near a college so there can be a lot of irresponsible young adults around, but there are lovely eating spots, walking trails, and people to be found here. the beach is the perfect distance to be able to go whenever the weather is perfect, but far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle of the boulevard. "
  • Erin H.
"People walk their dogs around the neighborhood everyday. Everyone is friendly towards dogs just make sure to pick up after them!"
  • Janepardun
"Dog friendly neighborhood. Everybody’s cordial to others dogs. And everybody picks up after their old dogs. You very rarely see people not cleaning up after their dogs."
  • Pkclabaugh2000
"we have July 4th fireworks. All the neighbors gather for the fireworks display and socialize. It's a very nice community to live on. "
  • Pkclabaugh2000
"MB is a very touristy town. with that being said, I think you need common sense as to where you go after d ark. On the positive side, MB is a great place to live with moderate temperatures in winter/spring bit it does get hot in summer 😎 "
  • Dawnmcclure93
"Fires, parties, and friendly visits. Light shows and having get togethers. I can’t forget about the bbqs and birthday parties as well."
  • Pkclabaugh2000
"It's a small feel next to a state university and 10 miles from the beach. Love it here. We're located by two major arteries feedings interstate roads and shopping districts are accessible from either downtown or out by the beach. We ate by the Broadway at the Beach venue and other beach attractions like Ripley's, the Sky Wheel and racing cars. Fun for a ages and plenty of golf course for everyone. "
  • Jensautter
"Safe for bikes, close to parks, walk to festivals, walk to restaurants. Walk to river walk, Christmas festivities, Halloween ghost walk, youth rec league sports. Great place to live and raise children."
  • Hayes-Paul D. P. I.
"It’s a safe area thanks to neighbors keeping a lookout for one another. My neighbor even warned me about a wasp nest on my house. "
  • Lmberg7
"Commutes can become a real challenge during rush hour in morning and afternoon. But mid morning usually is much easier to deal with."
