NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCedar Springs Middle School looks really good online with all the sports, arts, and high test scores, but in real life it is not as good as it sounds. A lot of students are struggling with their mental health because of the way the school is run. Some teachers do not teach well and even smart kids are getting bad grades, the cafeteria food has made multiple students sick, and some teachers act in ways that make students uncomfortable. The school and parents often do not listen when students try to speak up, so it feels like no one cares about what we are actually going through. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently a Jr. at CSHS and i have to say i am very disappointed. The teachers at this school are okay but some of them just need to look for another job, i have tried learning with these teachers but they rarely even get anything across with me. I can tell many MANY other students have this issue also because when i look across the room i see a lot of confused faces. Some of the teachers take WEEKS EVEN MONTHS to grade assignments, and by the time i figured out i failed it, i already forgot the little info they taught.Another huge problem i have with this dumpster fire is the "security guy" that works there barely even does his job. Hes constantly bullying students for nothing. One time i went to the bathroom and came out he took me into his office and started to search me, what the hell cedar? get your act together.
