3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school in the 6th grade and the 7th grade. Those years at that school is so much better than totem. This school had lots of opportunities for students to become social together. They had students do activities in assemblies. The school hosted lots of events. Lots of time for socializing. For the school work, they gave lots of time for students to work on their assignments and get them done on time. I really feel sad future kids won’t be able to experience this amazing school like how I did a year ago. Bring back MMS is what I think and say everyday because I miss this school so much.Student Review2mo ago10 Reviews - Grove Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter graduated from Marysville Getchell. Her overall experience was good the AP classes and teachers were engaging and she left college ready. She felt safe 99%of the time. Her councilor was helpful the only thing he could have changed is he recognized her last name from someone he went to college with he keept pushing on who he knew in our family. It was uncomfortable as this person had not been in our lives for 10+ years. They were abusive and a drug addict and everytime he brought it up it was uncomfortable and embarrassing. Maybe we should have just told him. The kids in this district with problems get special care and attention. This High-school is the best in the district I have other kids at Pilchuck and it is unsafe fights, drugs, and sexual assults and seriously lacking leadership. Getchell Parents Where do you think they send the kids who get expelled from the other High-school due to lack of leadership? Getchell won't stay good and safe for for long. Make sure you students understand consent and that no means no.Parent Review4mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 8770 75th Pl NE #5HHI23.

"There is engaging activities every month for the community for all ages. And there’s also the opera house and the library has good resources for activities. "

"Not very many dog parks but also nice due to not very many dogs or being walked out in public. So there’s won’t be an issue with dogs being face to face as often as usual busy city. "

"Poorly engineered road systems. Traffic lights change from yellow to red too fast sometimes. Traffic congestion is too heavy for the size of the city and the cost of housing taxes. "

"There are families of all kinds in the area. My neighborhood specifically has been in development for 20 years so traffic on I-5 N gets pretty bad after 2pm. "

"It’s quiet and minds it’s own business. We have pit bulls and they are welcomed with open arms. Nobody cares that we have five vehicles in our driveway at any point because we are quiet and we respect our neighbors"

"There are mainly church or school events and there are some nice events at the parks sometimes, but family, work, and church take up a lot of my time."

"It's a mix of older and newer houses. There's a pretty cool park and walking trail with an elementary school within walking distance. the nearest hospital is only 10 min away, and the fire station probably about 2 miles away. "

"Right now it is extremely easy due to restrictions in place. I work days now but normally swing shift. Normal swing shift commute is pretty easy. Normal day shift commute usually has a lot of traffic heading toward major urban areas or large employers like Boeing..."

"as a dog owner I liked it there is lots of spaces to walk my dog. what I don't like is the amount of people who just let their dogs run with no training"

"The train is the biggest problem, it does get quite congested due to the train during high traffic hours. Other than that getting around isn’t too difficult, I5 runs through marysville as well as highway 9. "

"Very popular place to live now for the mall. Safe place to live, everyone kind of stay to themselves. They try to keep it small but its growing anyway. Very family oriented and nice back drop of the mountains thru out the city. Lots of grocery stores to choose from 45to Bellevue and downtown Seattle. "

"Nothing is special about my neighborhood besides the fact that our neighbors are rude and disrespectful and I have never had neighbors like this before. We love our house but I do not see myself living here long term due to the stress of our neighbors. "
