4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEven though i really liked this school back then and thought this was one of best in kentucky, i don't really like it anymore. while i transferred to Dixie Heights this school year (2022-2023) there have been a lot of fights over there, assistant principals being mean to students, caring more about athletics than education, teachers not calling me down and some teachers that did not help me with my work except my tutors in my freshman and sophomore year going to scott. so i'd say stay way from going there, your better off going to my school Dixie Heights or like Campbell County High School where all my siblings and my cousins went and graduated there.Other Review1y ago - Summit View Academy

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would love to give SVA a great review. My kids have had very different experiences in the building. Child A has adhd & is a gifted student. Although they are in advanced classes they're bored often due to lack of engagement from teachers and get in trouble almost daily. They've been made to feel like the target of teachers' negativity year after year. I know my child isn't perfect, but being in trouble every single day when you're really trying your hardest is no way to go through life. They have zero focus on social emotional learning here & if your child doesn't have a 504 plan or an iep they will be overlooked... it seems at this school you have to get one for your child to get any help in any way. The teachers don't do anything with threats against other kids & the administration is even worse. I can't wait until Child A is out of this school. Child B is younger & loves SVA. They are getting great grades & have lots of friends. They've had some trouble, but mostly on the bus with bigger kids. I'm guessing Child B's experience is also different because they're in a lower grade level. I'm not looking forward to Child B reaching middle school here at all.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 1978 Williams Creek Way #QL6H3H.
