‘Vampire Diaries’ Paul Wesley Buys $2 Million Studio City Stunner

One of Tinseltown’s hottest vampires is taking a bite out of Hollywood real estate.

The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley just dropped $2 million on a four-bed, three-and-a-half-bath modern spread in the Studio City hills. The 3,240-square-foot home will be the perfect bachelor pad for the CW hunk, who recently filmed his final scenes for the hit show with his soon-to-be ex-costar Nina Dobrev.

But this being Hollywood, Paul purchased the contemporary-style pad from another famous face: Counting Crows keyboardist Charlie Gillingham. (Well, you know, relatively famous. The ’90s weren’t all that long ago.) Gillingham had listed the home at $1,999,999, but Wesley’s buying price was a bit higher at $2,050,000.

Overlooking the cascading tranquillity of the canyon, this architectural treasure was just built in 2010. An open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious living room features a crackling fireplace for a welcoming, cozy vibe. Vaulted truss ceilings, bamboo floors, and natural light reflect throughout. Lush, tropical greenery gives this pad the feeling that you’re tucked away in a hidden enclave, which is perfect for someone keeping vampire’s hours.

Word is, the hot property even comes with its own quarter-mile trail, in case Paul and his girlfriend, The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin, feel like strapping on their ol’ boots and taking a hike around Studio City. It’s not Transylvania, but we’re sure they can find plenty of things that go bump in the night.
