“Love in this Club” isn’t all Usher wants to make. The singer/songwriter/man of many talents is looking to make some million dollar deals, because he just listed his home in in the Hollywood Hills for $4.2 million. The “Cuz We Can” singer bought the five-bed, six-bath property less than 3 years ago to the tune of $3.36 million, meaning if he manages to sell at his asking price, he’ll score over $700,000 in profit. (Hence the “YEAH!”)
The 4261-square-foot home is a meticulously-restored Spanish contemporary-style estate built in 1926. Located in the Hollywood Hills just on the cusp of West Hollywood, the property sits behind the famed Chateau Marmont Hotel on a private road. Embracing classic old Hollywood style, it features original stenciled wood beam ceilings and French doors. Step into the dramatic foyer, painted in a rich black color, and highlighting the dramatic staircase that streams upward. In the living room, a rebuilt fireplace is the perfect spot to cozy up, or you can step outside to the private patio. A Chef’s kitchen is filled with stainless steel appliances and a built-in breakfast area. (Sorry, we don’t think you get to keep the giant bottles of Cristal and Dom Perignon on the counter.) A lower level features a theatre/media room (catch a glance at those cushy chairs!) as well as an additional en-suite bedroom with its own private entrance. The other bedrooms are upstairs, including the sun-filled master bedroom with its own private terrace and exquisite views of the Hollywood Hills and bright lights of the Sunset Strip. The master bath is the ultimate private oasis, furnished with marble, a soaking tub, large shower, and dual vanities. A separate en-suite guest room can easily be converted into a home office, or meditation room/art studio. Outside, a sparkling plunge swimming pool sits next to a variety of lounging areas, perfect for outdoor barbecues or just enjoying your morning coffee.
Usher also owns a home back in Alpharetta, Georgia, which is currently on the market for $1.725 million. He also previously owned a $3.2 million estate in Roswell, GA, but sold that after breaking up with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.
