Trulia and its parent company, Zillow Group, are at it again! We’re honored to announce we’ve been named one of the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area for 2018 by Fortune magazine – ranking seventh among the top 25 best large companies. This marks our second workplace award in 2018 and is a direct result of the culture we’ve created in our San Francisco office, as it is based solely on employee feedback.
What makes our workplace so great? We solve challenging problems that matter to us, we learn a lot and we have fun while we do it.
When we aren’t hosting technical training courses or producing new managerial and leadership courses, we’re researching, developing, and testing new products and features that will help people discover a place they’ll love to live.
We also host quarterly Innovation Weeks, where people can experiment with new technologies and teams, offer twice-weekly yoga sessions, in-office massages, and free food. We want to make sure everyone loves coming to work. People can even bring their pups to the office!
On top of these office perks, we thank everyone for their hard work with an annual “Mind, Body, Spirit Day,” which is an entire day dedicated to serving our physical and mental well-being. Employees can choose from any number of employee-led activities to do something good for their mind, body or spirit – such as meditate, take surf lessons, go on an urban hike, play soccer, try aerial yoga, and more – and at the end of the day, reconvene for a happy hour.
