Tech Titan Larry Ellison Selling $19M Home in Woodside

Larry Ellison, co-founder and CEO of Oracle, was recently suggested to be “The Nation’s Most Avid Trophy-Home Buyer” by the fine folks at the Wall Street Journal. Since becoming one of the biggest earners in America while at the helm of Oracle, Ellison has spent hundreds of millions of dollars acquiring incredible properties across the globe. According to the WSJ, Ellison’s known property roster includes five adjacent lots in Malibu, a Newport, R.I., mansion formerly owned by the Astor family; a historic garden property in Kyoto and an estate in Rancho Mirage, Calif., with a private, 19-hole golf course. He’s currently adding a Lake Tahoe compound to that incredible line-up.

While Larry’s been known to add more and more properties to his portfolio, he does occasionally sell. As reported by The Real Estalker, Ellison is the owner of a stunning $19,000,000 for-sale luxury equestrian estate in Woodside, CA – a town as famous for being horse-friendly as it is for its millionaire and billionaire residents. On the market just shy of 3 months, it appears that Larry is prepared for one of his trophies to be taken off the shelf, polished off, and transferred to the right buyer.

The exclusive equestrian estate is comprised of 2 parcels, for a grand total of 6.88 acres. Private and secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac, Ellison’s classic colonial home consists of 4-bedrooms, 3.5-bathrooms, a pool house and pond-like pool with elevated spa. Also on the property is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guesthouse, beach volley ball court, ponds and equestrian facilities that include a 5-stall barn.
