Looks as though the Scottish actor is no longer “Playing for Keeps.”
Gerard Butler just put his four-bed, four-bath Los Feliz, CA, mansion on the rental market. If you’d rather dig a little deeper into your pockets, the home is also available for sale — with a price tag of $4.395 million.
Gerard’s Spanish-style hacienda is a 4,490-square-foot estate in LA’s fashionable Los Feliz neighborhood, which has been home base for stars like Sia and Jason Segel. Built in 1930 during Hollywood’s golden age, the extensively restored property combines Old World charm with modern-day amenities.
Extremely private, the home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. An enchanting courtyard accents the California indoor/outdoor-living aesthetic, allowing its residents to move seamlessly throughout the property while embracing the sunny SoCal weather. Vintage details include beamed ceilings and turrets offering panoramic city and canyon views.
Updated comfort systems and a screening room are just a few of the home’s luxurious amenities. An outdoor space features a swimming pool and multiple sitting areas. Gerard loves to entertain, so we bet he’s spent a lot of time out there. Maybe a few romantic evenings with former flames like Jennifer Aniston or Cameron Diaz?
Butler bought the home back in 2008 for $3.25 million, but in typical Hollywood style, it’s not his only property. Since 2004, he’s had a home in New York, NY’s Greenwich Village, as well as a new beach house in Malibu, CA, he snagged just last year for $6.45 million. Maybe that’s where he’s hanging out while the Los Feliz home is on the rental market!
