Poppy Montgomery Is Selling Her Stunning Home For $4.985 Million

Is the Australian actress leaving Pacific Palisades “Without a Trace”?

Poppy Montgomery, the redheaded Aussie — known for her roles on CBS’ Without a Trace and the recently canceled drama Unforgettable — is taking off from the Palisades for a second time. She just listed her five-bedroom, five-bathroom home for $4.985 million, after owning it for just a year and a half. If it sells at the listing price, Poppy will make a little cash on the deal: She bought it in April 2015 for just under $4.9 million. But this isn’t the first time Poppy has owned a house in Pacific Palisades, CA; she also lived there awhile back, moving in 2013. Maybe that saying “You can’t go home again” rang true for the TV star.

Built in 2015, the 4,800-square-foot home is a traditional-style beauty that could have been plucked straight out of the Hamptons in New York. Designed by renowned architect Kenneth Ungar, the home features custom plantation shutters on the exterior and a welcoming brick walkway in front. Beautiful oak floors lead through the spacious open floor plan, including the gourmet kitchen, where Carrara marble and Caesarstone countertops complement top-of-the-line appliances, a butler’s pantry, and an inviting breakfast nook. The family room features a custom fireplace mantel, a built-in bookcase, and a wet bar. Downstairs, a large media room and wine cellar offer space for relaxation, as does the outdoor loggia with a brick fireplace and chandelier. A variety of bedroom options includes two that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, perfect for siblings. (Poppy has three children, so we’re guessing they made use of this adorable feature.) An upstairs den also could be used as another bedroom.

Before this short stay in the Palisades, Poppy owned a unique Spanish-style home in the luxe Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, which she bought for $3.6 million back in 2013. Before that, she was in the Palisades yet again. However, that deal resulted in a loss: She ended up selling her Pacific Palisades home for $2.881 million, a $250,000 cut from what she paid for it back in 2005.
