Lady Gaga Buys Rock-And-Roll Compound From Frank Zappa For $5.25 Million

Gaga’s genius deserves to live in a creative palace like this one.

Let’s give some Applause to Lady Gaga for snagging the famous Laurel Canyon compound of longtime owner, musician Frank Zappa, for $5.25 million.

Purchased by Frank in the 1970s for around $75,000, the nearly 7,000-square-foot Tudor-style home in Los Angeles, CA, built in 1939, is nestled on just over half an acre, boasting seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. The home includes a library room, a dragon mural in the dining room, a massage room, and a master suite with a vaulted ceiling. Oh, and did we mention the porthole windows and doors salvaged from vintage submarines?

A separate apartment and two detached guest cottages leave plenty of room for the star’s friends and staff. In addition to expected features from a home this size, Gaga’s new compound comes with an art gallery and a state-of-the-art recording studio. Mosaic gardens, a swimming pool, and a mixture of patios and decks are sure to leave guests Speechless.

Lady Gaga also owns a Malibu, CA, Mediterranean villa that she purchased in 2014.
