Jared Leto Lists His Los Angeles Starter Home For $2 Million

The “Suicide Squad” Joker is nothing but serious when it comes to his real estate.

Jared Leto is making a move, but this isn’t a performance by the notorious Method actor and man-bun enthusiast. Leto is officially saying goodbye to his contemporary starter home in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, listing it for just under $2 million. Leto bought the four-bed, three-bath spread for $1.65 million back in 2006 when his career was on the rise. But now that he’s reached mega-star status, he’s parting with the property. He’s come a long way from playing ’90s teen dream Jordan Catalano on My So-Called Life!

Built in 1955, the private and secluded contemporary estate is a 4,021-square-foot beauty in east Hollywood Hills, just a short distance from all the major movie studios. In the spacious living room, a cozy fireplace provides the perfect spot to hang out. Nearby, there’s an eat-in kitchen, dining room, and oversized family room with its own wet bar. There’s also a music studio, where Jared probably dropped a beat with his brother, Shannon (the two are both members of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars). Outside, the sprawling grounds are stylishly resortlike, with mature tropical landscaping, a private pool and spa, outdoor kitchen and barbecue, grassy yard, and fire pit. Another unique selling feature about this property is its dual large master suites, each with incredible closet space.

It looks as though the Hollywood Hills property is just an investment nowadays for Leto, who, back in January of 2015, dropped a cool $5 million on a home in LA’s Laurel Canyon that used to be a military compound and secret film studio. With the home’s several art galleries, spiral staircase, and long, lagoon-esque pool, we’d probably be eager to move in too!
