Trulia has teamed up with the Google app for Android to offer an even more useful tool for your home search.
Beginning today, you can get notifications in the Google app when homes that meet your Trulia search criteria hit the market. Updates are served via Google Now cards, approximately once each day (depending on the availability of homes in your market), and can be seen by tapping the Google app.
To begin receiving timely, relevant information about homes that fit your needs and budget, make sure you have the latest Trulia Android app and save at least one search.
Tapping the Google Now card will open the Trulia app, where you can see rich, full-screen photos, local information such as schools and crime rates, and key details about the home, such as the number of bedrooms and whether there is a pool in the backyard.
You can manage notifications from multiple places — including your Android phone, tablet, or even your computer’s Web browser — because Google Now cards for Trulia are synchronized with your Trulia account.
For example, if you use your laptop to update your Trulia search criteria, let’s say increasing the price of the home, that change will immediately be reflected in the next batch of homes sent to your phone.
