He’s certainly the comic relief on screen, but Eric Stonestreet’s real estate portfolio is nothing to laugh at. The actor just listed his two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Studio City, CA, for $1.099 million. He bought the cozy, traditional-meets-storybook-style cottage for $735,000 back in 2008, a year before Modern Family hit the airwaves and Eric became known for his role as the beloved Cameron Tucker.
Tucked away on a beautiful street with a canopy of sycamore trees, the home, located in the Silver Triangle area, is a picture-perfect taste of suburbia. Built in 1948, the 1,635-square-foot home features a formal living room with a fireplace, hardwood floors, and plenty of natural light, which streams in from windows adorned with wood shutters. A bright and sunny galley-style kitchen opens out to the deck and backyard, and is adjacent to an adorable breakfast room. We can imagine Eric’s co-stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson or Sofia Vergara popping by and sharing a meal in the home’s cozy dining room — maybe Sofia will bring Gloria’s famous hot sauce? The master retreat is the ideal place to curl up after a long day and has a recently remodeled full bath and spacious walk-in closet — plenty of room to fit a Fizbo the Clown costume! The comfortable family room opens out to a deck that highlights a romantic brick courtyard and orange tree. With a prime Studio City, CA, location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and exercise studios, this storybook home can now be anyone’s fairy-tale ending.
Eric has another home in the sunny San Fernando Valley town of Valley Village, CA, which he also bought in his pre-fame days back in 2002 for $540,000. But now that he’s making over $10 million a year, we’re excited to see what he’ll add next to his real estate portfolio.
