Miami Heat’s Zydrunas Ilgauskas Renting Out NYC Home For $37,500 A Month

Mega-Tall Miami Heat baller Zydrunas Ilgauskas has placed his stunning Soho NYC spread on the rental market, with the asking price of $37,500 a month. To the Average Joe, that’s a whole lot of pennies for a rental, but peak inside the home and you’ll see that it’s quite the palace. Big Z’s rental is a newly renovated five-story townhouse that has it all. On the ground floor, you’ll find an entry vestibule, 17′ ceilings, a family room with double doors leading out to patio garden, powder room and an elevator.

On the second floor, you’ll find an open kitchen/dining floor with 15′ ceilings, a dining area with french doors opening onto a front balcony. In the kitchen, doors lead to a back balcony and appliances are top-notch: a Garland stove, Traulsen refrigerator, two-drawer dishwasher, and two sink areas with garbage disposals.

The Master bedroom suite encompasses the third floor and has 15′ ceilings, an entire wall of closets, a Swarovski crystal chandelier, a master bath with a red murano glass chandelier and bissazza tile. On the fourth and fifth floors, you’ll find additional bedrooms, bathrooms and a laundry room.

Unique touches throughout the home include antique stain glass windows from Argentina, double doors salvaged from a firehouse, an antique french chandelier, Art Deco light fixtures from Paris, a restaurant bar salvaged from Upstate New York, wrought iron balconies from Peru, a train station clock from Paris, a round church window from France, cast iron posts from a landmark building on Central Park West and tile in the kitchen from a chapel on Central Park West. Quite the beautiful mish-mash of historical, signficant and sentimental items.

Rounding out this five-story urban mansion is a 1,000 square foot European-style rooftop terrace.
