Aerosmith frontman and “American Idol” judge Steven Tyler has recently purchased this Hawaiian love nest for him and his fiancée Erin Brady, reports The Wall Street Journal. Although originally listed at $6.5 million, Tyler walked away with the 3,000-square-foot, two bedroom and 3½ bathroom home for $1.6million less at $4.9 million.
Just a few short weeks after making this purchase, Tyler and his fiancee “didn’t want to miss a thing” and hired an expert to bless the home. Once that was said and done, the couple was ready to rock on.
Located in a nature preserve on the island of Maui, the quarter acre, beach front getaway comes complete with out-of-this-world coastal views and outdoor decks leading to an infinity-edge saltwater pool. Built in 1988, the glass walls and flooring made up of wood and stone surround an exquisite floor-to-ceiling aquarium. The open living space and tree-house like ambiance makes for a truly unique indoor/outdoor experience.
Maui residents better be ready. I wouldn’t be surprised if I heard “Janie’s Got a Gun” blasting at full volume.
