It’s safe to say that United States Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin shares a design aesthetic with his boss, President Donald Trump. Mnuchin, who is married to former actress Louise Linton, just listed his longtime Manhattan home on Park Avenue for a whopping $32 million, and the three-bed, four-bath duplex is the epitome of gilded New York luxury. The expansive property has been in Mnuchin’s family for a significant amount of time.
Pre-war style blends with meticulous renovations to maintain the historic beauty of the property while embracing modern living. Step off the private elevator landing that opens up to a gallery with 11-foot ceilings, marble floors, and a sweeping curved staircase. On the first floor, which is dedicated to entertaining rooms, you’ll find an 800-square-foot living room with gigantic windows overlooking Park Avenue, a wood-paneled library with a wet bar, and an elegant formal dining room with large windows. A spacious kitchen has a large center island with a breakfast room and storage pantry.
