If the $15,000 per month it previously cost to rent Sandra Bullock‘s stunning property scared you off, you may be pleased to hear that the property just sold. The rom-com queen just sold her four-bed, three-bath home in the Hollywood Hills above the famed Chateau Marmont for $2.925 million. Bullock purchased the home in 2001 for $1.485 million, and listed it back in July for $2.995 million.
Built in 1942, the California Bungalow-style home is a unique taste of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Just off Sunset Boulevard and minutes from its famous Strip, the property is the picture of California cool, with a stucco exterior complementing the contemporary design. The home features 3153-square-feet of fully-furnished space spread out on one story. In the living room, large vaulted ceilings sit above a stylish and welcoming space complete with a fireplace. There’s a large eat-in cook’s kitchen which opens out to a sunny and private stone-decked pool, spa, and lanai, with beautiful views of the city of Los Angeles. A roomy master suite has a spacious bath with a soaking tub and separate steam shower, while one of the other bedrooms has a fun sleeping loft, which is great for warm summer nights with the windows open. We’re guessing that’s the spot where the actress has spent many a night hanging out with her Ocean’s Eight co-stars Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, and Mindy Kaling.
