Rachel Bilson Drops $3.25M On A Pasadena Pad

Fresh off a breakup, the actress's new home is the perfect spot to start anew.

Rachel Bilson is on the move. The actress, who rose to fame on the hit series The O.C. opposite Benjamin McKenzie and later appeared on Hart of Dixie and Nashville, recently split from her longtime love Hayden Christensen. But it looks like the starlet has found her new dream home: a $3.25 million stylish six-bed, four-bath home in the pricey Linda Vista section of Pasadena, CA.

Built in 1950, the mid-century modern masterpiece was designed by Gregory Ain, and is known as the “Ralph’s House.”  A single-level property measuring 3678-square-feet, the home maintains most of its original design. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide streaming natural light, while refurbished wood floors are the perfect blank canvas for decorating. A spacious living room is the ultimate gathering place for any family, complete with a cozy fireplace and built-in bookshelves. A large sliding glass door leads outside to the resort-style backyard, part of the impeccably designed outdoor landscape with rolling gardens, an open-air courtyard, and stunning views of the canyons and mountaintops above the city. The entire property measures 35,844 square feet.

Bilson has hung her hat all around Los Angeles: She previously lived in Sherman Oaks, as well as in an Encino home that has quite the celebrity lineage: Rose McGowan, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Busy Philipps all called the property home sweet home for a time.
