Ah, the Hamptons! The official summer playground of the rich and famous! Stars like Matt Lauer, Jennifer Lopez and Christie Brinkley have all called the luxurious Long Island community home during the dog days of summer, and the Rachael Ray Show host is no exception. But now she’s saying goodbye to her sprawling estate: The beloved culinary tycoon has just listed her three-bed, five-bath property in the luxe Southampton, NY for $4.9 million. Do you think she has the recipe to make a major sale?
Spread out over 6.1 rolling acres, the 3000-square-foot home, which was built in 1976, is is the picture of sleek and sophisticated Hamptons luxury. Tucked right next to the uber-chic Southampton Golf Club, the light and bright home is a single-story beauty amidst lush gardens, old trees, and rolling lawns. In the main home, there are three en-suite bedrooms, including the luxurious master suite. And in true Rachael Ray style, the chef’s quality kitchen features almost every amenity one could desire, like stainless steel appliances and ample cabinet space, along with a small, sunny nook for taking a quiet moment to relax.
Outside, the oversized gunite pool and spacious blue stone patio with a pergola are ideal for entertaining guests, which we all know is Ray’s specialty.
