‘Game of Thrones’ Actress Lena Headey Lists Sherman Oaks Home for $1.945M

Winter isn’t coming to this cheery So Cal property.

Lena Headey, best known for her role as Cersei Lannister in the smash TV show, ‘Game of Thrones,’ is selling her colorful Sherman Oaks home for $1,945,000. You might expect the star to live in a Manor, but she has called this perky palace home…until now.

Lena snagged the property in 2014 for $790,000. Back then, the home wasn’t much to look at (by Hollywood standards), but had serious potential. Located in one of the best neighborhoods Sherman Oaks has to offer, the traditional home had a mid-century modern twist, great ‘bones,’ and was located on a beautiful and quiet tree-lined street.

Lena truly transformed the property into a ‘mid-century meets boho chic’ magical custom home that has an interior that feels light, open and tranquil. The 2,922 square foot home now has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. As you walk inside, the high pitched ceilings and the warmth of reclaimed oak flooring in a stunning herringbone pattern catch the eye. Special touches and attention to detail are found throughout, from the tile floors and backsplashes, to lighting and cabinet hardware choices. Fleetwood sliders open from the chef’s kitchen and family room to the beautiful and architectural backyard featuring a private saltwater pool oasis, made for entertaining. Drought tolerant landscaping provides a simple elegance with very low maintenance, and a green wall showcases a variety of succulents and a unique outdoor shower!
