UPDATE! Kelly Clarkson’s Tennessee Mansion Still On The Market For $8.75M

The 'American Idol' alum's palatial Southern spread is still waiting for a buyer.

Kelly Clarkson’s sprawling Hendersonville, TN estate is still sitting on the market. The beloved singer first listed the seven-bed, 11-bath spread back in March of 2017 for $8.75 million, but nobody snapped it up. Clarkson, who rose to fame as the first-ever winner of the reality show American Idol, bought the seven-bed, 11-bath spread back in 2013 for $2.8 million.

Located on more than 4 acres of Tennessee countryside, the waterfront estate is tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac. Built in 2007, the 20,000-square-foot mansion has elegant fountains out front. A grand foyer leads to a two-story great room with a fireplace, French doors, and mezzanine. A large eat-in kitchen offers plenty of seating, while a screening room and game room are perfect for entertaining. Maybe Kelly’s Idol-era co-stars Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson would be interested in swinging by to grab a seat at the cowboy-themed bar? Yeah, dawg!

Kelly is married to music manager Brandon Blackstock, and the couple have two young children of their own, as well as two from Brandon’s previous marriage. Brandon’s father, Narvel Blackstock, was married to country queen Reba McEntire for 25 years. (Yes, that means Kelly’s ex-mother-in-law is none other than Reba!) But Kelly and Reba certainly aren’t the only crooners who have a hankering for Tennessee: Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have called the Volunteer State home.

Meanwhile, Clarkson just made a big ticket purchase: She just dropped $8.5 million on an eight-bed, 11-bath home in the sun-drenched San Fernando Valley town of Encino. Measuring 9839 square feet, the custom build is located on a 23,500-square-foot lot in the coveted Royal Oaks. Step inside and you’re greeted by reclaimed wood beam ceilings towering overhead, while over-sized pocket doors are paid throughout to create a seamless sense of indoor/outdoor flow. Filled with unique custom elements like hand-poured sinks, vintage wood barn doors, and blended brick flooring, the property has a gourmet kitchen with three islands and high-end appliances, as well as a La Cornue range and two dishwashers.

Outside, park-like grounds feature manicured lawns and mature palm trees, as well as a sparkling swimming pool and spa, and a sunken dry-lounge with a fire pit. Built-in lounge seating accompanies an outdoor kitchen with its own pizza oven, while a built-in daybed offers resort-style living. There’s also a two-level guest house with its own full kitchen. With amenities like these, we can’t blame Clarkson for high-tailing it to the West Coast!
