John Legend and Chrissy Teigen List Stunning Manhattan Loft

Chic couple asking $4.495 million for luxury pad in elite downtown enclave.

Singer/songwriter John Legend and supermodel Chrissy Teigen have listed their chic New York City loft for $4.495 million. The one-bed, two-bath spread is in the stylish Brewster Carriage House, a historic 19th-century building that infuses modern luxury and design. You may recognize the sophisticated pad, tucked in the elite Manhattan enclave of NoLita, from its recent cover of Architectural Digest.

Measuring 2,000 square feet, the home has an open floor plan that features a main living room surrounded by oversized windows, and a gas fireplace with an alcove that can function as either a library/office or a makeshift guest room. The chef’s kitchen, where culinary queen Teigen creates her delicious meals, features a large, custom-built island, stunning hand-laid mosaic tile, and top-of-the-line appliances. The entire home provides the beautiful aesthetic contrast of metallic finishes with reclaimed wood and cast-iron columns, with the occasional glimpse of exposed brick.

The master suite includes a spacious walk-in closet and custom built-in wardrobe (we all know Teigen is quite the style maven); the spa-like master bath contains a deep cast-iron tub, separate walk-in shower, travertine walls, and a black limestone herringbone floor. The home is also perfect for tech-savvy owners, thanks to its Control4 smart-home system, which allows built-in speakers to play music and controls recessed lighting and electric window blinds.

Legend has moved around the city a bit; back in 2011, he sold his two-bed, two-bath bachelor pad in the Scarano-on-the-Bowery building. Just last year, the couple sold their Los Angeles pad in the Hollywood Hills area for $2 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. Naturally, that home was in Architectural Digest as well. Celebs — they’re just like us.
