Jason Mewes, the New Jersey born and bred actor most famous for playing Jay in the irreverent duo of “Jay and Silent Bob,” has recently purchased a 3-bedroom, 2-bath house in the Hollywood Hills for $710,000.
The $700K price tag may seem on the lower end compared to other outrageous celeb estates on Luxe, however the property is located in one of the most central and coveted locations for those in the film industry in a zip code that has a median listing price of around $1.3 million. Staying local is key for the actor/comedian nowadays, as he’s been keeping busy in front of the camera with new projects this year. Mewes premiered his latest gamer flick, Noobz just last week and in March launched a Hulu original series called Spoilers with partner in crime Kevin Smith, a.k.a. Silent Bob.
